Course Description   EMT Refresher: The EMT Refresher module is designed for students who need to complete 24 hours of continuing education and sit for the competency-based written and skills certification examination in accordance with the standards of the California State and Health Code, Title 22. Day 1: EMT Prep, Airway, Patient Assessment Day 2: Medication/Behavioral, OB, Infant/Children Day 3: Testing Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a Completion Certificate with (8) counting education units for each refresher courses day attended, for a maximum of (24) continuing education units. Intended Audience: Currently certified Emergency Medical Technicians who need continuing education units to rectify license. Once skills session is secured by payment, the payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
