ENPC- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course(Emergency Nurse Association Course) Provided at our Turlock-CA, Merced-CA and Modesto-CA Locations
The Emergency Nurses Association Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) is a two-day course designed to provide core level pediatric knowledge and psychomotor skills associated with the delivery of professional nursing care to the pediatric patient. Lecture topics include epidemiology, assessment, triage, respiratory emergencies, respiratory failure, shock, pediatric trauma, child maltreatment, neonatal emergencies, medical emergencies, crisis intervention, environmental issues, toxicological issues, ethical and legal issues, stabilization and transport. Skills stations include airway/ventilation, position/securing, vascular access/medication administration, pediatric multiple trauma, pediatric resuscitation, and triage.
Upon successful completion of the course (written and skills exams), each participant will receive a verification card from ENA Expiration of verification occurs four years from the first day of the month in which the card was issued
Course Materials The Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course Provider Manual, 5th Edition (Newest version effective 4/2019) and directions to First Lady Permanente, LLC Training Center will be sent to participants upon payment. It is imperative that participants study the textbook prior to the class to prepare for active participation and successful completion. The ENA Requires students register through ENA and complete the online pre-course modules prior to attending the program.

Prerequisites & Preparation Only registered nurses will be awarded verification cards. LVN's and paramedics may attend the course for C.E’s. Participants must complete the pre-course modules through ENA. License keys will be e-mailed to participants upon registration.

Cost / Payment Policy A standard cost of $385.00 for the ENPC (2 day Course) is required in full at time of registering for the class. Note:Payment for the class is Non-refundable and Non-transferable. Successful completion of the course includes scoring a minimum of 80% or greater on the 50-item multiple choice examination and demonstrating all critical concepts and 70% of the total points in the evaluated skill station. If a student does not pass the ENPC Course, no refund will be provided, and no free re-takes allowed. Students that fail the exam have (30) days to retest at our Turlock Center for a fee of $250.00, this consists of attending course from 1:00pm - 5:00pm.
Testing/Evaluation Successful completion of the course includes scoring 80% or greater on the multiple choice examination and demonstrating all critical steps and 70% of the total points in the evaluated skill station � the Trauma Nursing Process. If a student does not pass the ENPC Course, no refund will be provided, and no free retakes allowed. In order to take the class again a non-passing fee of $250.00 is required in order to enroll in next available class. Must be present in class and testing attempted in order for fee to apply.
Refund Policy Full payment of $300 and book fee (optional $75.00) is required in order to secure a spot in the ENPC Course. Space is limited. To ensure individuals that need the class get in, payment is non-refundable & non-transferable no exceptions. Once you submit payment for the class, your spot is reserved and logged with the ENPC Course Administrator. If you do not show up to the first day or are late, your spot will be dropped! If its impossible to attend your paid class, you are allowed to sell your spot to another student that you recruit on your own (name must be submitted to our training center 1 week before class latest.)
Pre-Course ENPC Assignment (Required) The ENA requires all ENPC students to take the online pre-test for proper preparation for the course. The invitation to access ENA Pre-Course Modules (1-4), is automatically emailed to you within 36 hours of registering for the course. Please allow 15-20 minutes for each module, Final Assessment is timed for 20 minutes (Two attempts only). You must pass the assessment in order to get credited hours (1.25 hours), its mandatory to bring to class on first day.
