AS in Nursing (LVN to RN) Advanced Placement Program Pending Approval

Our pending 8- Month ADN (LVN to RN) advanced placement pathway program prepares nursing students for the NCLEX-RN exam. Estimated 34 instructional weeks, evening and weekend sessions at our Turlock Campus. ATI standardized testing is used to assess student learning outcomes and evaluate student readiness for the nursing licensure examination.
Prerequisite: Must have an active LVN/ LPN license -state of CA licensure. Must also take the Admissions Assessment: The test of essential academic skills (TEAS VII). Must have a 64 percent or better with maximum of (2) attempts.

How to prepare for acceptance:
- Maintain active LVN license
- Work experience as a charge nurse is preferred
- Prepare for an interview before acceptance into program
- (2) letters of recommendation from Healthcare Professionals
- Verification of Financials or prepare to qualify for school loan
Nursing Career Investment:
This program is the next step in becoming a Registered Nurse in California. The estimated investment is $40,000 and may include additional fees. FASFA/ Title 4 funding is not offered for this program. Students must prepare for the investment by obtaining their own financing or meet qualifications for a school private loan with a credit score of 725 or higher with verification of income.
