Experienced EMT's wanting to challenge the pre-paramedic exam, use this link to submit payment and select test date. Testing is offered at our admissions building located at 901 Geer Road, Turlock only on Thursdays. In order to test, you must bring the following to your appointment:
-- Active EMT License
-- Verification you have a minimum of 1 year active experience, letter from EMS employer or other suitable verification
--Valid government ID

The $150 non-refundable/ non-transferable exam fee allows EMT one attempt to take the exam, exam time limit is 2-hours. Student must achieve an 80% or higher to meet qualifications. The content covered in the exam is the following: Fundamentals of Paramedic, Anatomy/ Pathophysiology, Basic EKG/ Treatment Plans, Pharmacology and Medication Dosages, Medical Emergencies, Trauma Assessment, Traumatic Emergencies, Trauma Assessment and Medical Terminology.
