Nurse Assistant Program:
This (176) hour program, 22 days consisting of (71) hours of theory and (105) hours of clinical experience is required for a certificate of completion. The Nurse Assistant program is a course leading to an entry level career in the health care industry. The course emphasizes care of the older adult client and assistance with the activities of daily living; bathing, dressing, exercise, movement, eating, eliminating, safety measures, and rehabilitation techniques. The Nurse Assistant Program also provides clinical instruction. Students will practice skills in lab and then be assigned to assist clients in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
To enroll in the program a non-refundable fee of $250.00 is due at time of enrollment into the program. If student chooses to cancel their enrollment the fee will not be refunded (no exceptions). The remainder cost $1,265.00 (covers all the following: Tuition, set scrubs, student workbook (Textbook not included), AHA BLS Course, State Test, course materials). No additional fees.

Course Completion Certificate:
Upon successfully completing the Nurse Assistant Program (176 Hours) the student will then be enrolled to take the State Certificate Exam and must pass in order to become a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). State test includes skills and multiple choice test of 60 questions.
The program is open to the general public for admission, student must have a high school diploma or 18-years of age, Valid Identification Card, Social Security Card. A Healthcare Provider (AHA) BLS class session is provided at no cost in the course, students have the option to take the course prior however the cost will not be reimbursed. All enrolled students are required to attend an orientation must schedule with admissions office (209) 250-1200. By the first day of program student must have: TB Test, Physical and Livescan Background.
Student must attend all scheduled hours program total 176. If a student is sick and unable to attend program hours, they must provide a doctors note and make-up hours at a later time (fees may apply).
Students have the option to go on a weekly payment plan the duration of the program, payments are due on (Friday's) each week of program - processed by the Administrative Department.
